Frightfest continues in Invokers: Titan Legacy, and the latest in-game Event is live from 26 October to 1 November. This one tasks you with surviving a deadly hedgemaze, holding off endless waves from inside a protective moonbeam, and protecting candy-filled cauldrons from attackers. Playing it feeds two goals at once: a high score for the Leaderboards, and Pumpkins that help you complete the Grimnall Chase.

The Frightfest event teaser was published on the official Invokers: Titan Legacy channel.

What you do in the Frightfest event

There are three challenges this time:

  • The hedgemaze: get through a deadly maze alive.
  • The moonbeam: fight endless waves without straying outside a protective beam of moonlight.
  • The candy cauldrons: keep the cauldrons full of candy safe from attack.

What isn't clear yet is whether these are three separate stages or modes that rotate. Either way, we'd try all three early in the week so you know which one suits your roster before you start chasing a big score.

Pumpkins and the Grimnall Chase

Pumpkins are the reason most players will grind this event. Every Pumpkin you earn in Frightfest helps you complete the Grimnall Chase, which has been live since Monday 12 October and lets you earn what HitZone calls "a terrifying Invoker".

We haven't been able to confirm how many Pumpkins the Chase needs, how many each run or score gives, or when the Chase itself ends. The Invoker's rarity, faction and element are also still unconfirmed. Check the official Grimnall Chase page on invokers.com for anything we haven't been able to pin down, and keep an eye on the Invokers events calendar.

Our view: treat 1 November as your Pumpkin deadline. This event is where you earn them, it closes on 1 November and no reset hour has been given, so we'd aim to wrap up farming by 31 October rather than leaving it to the final day.

Frightfest Leaderboards

Score is the other half of the event. The higher you score, the further you climb the Leaderboards, and invokers.com has a dedicated Leaderboards page in its Events hub.

The teaser doesn't list reward tiers, and we haven't been able to confirm them yet. Until they're clear, we'd put Pumpkins first and only push for rank once you've got a feel for where your best score lands. If you're competitive and already near the top, it's worth a few extra runs; if not, the Chase is the surer payoff.

The rest of Frightfest

Frightfest was first announced on invokers.com in a "Frightfest Event - coming soon!" post dated 7 October. Alongside the Grimnall Chase, the Halloween season brings a new pumpkin-themed Invoker and a new pumpkin-themed Titan to collect, plus a spooky new home screen.

We haven't been able to confirm the names of the pumpkin Invoker or Titan yet. When they appear, they'll go on our Invokers heroes page, and we'll see where they fit on the Invokers tier list.

When does Frightfest end?

The event runs from 26 October to 1 November. The teaser gives no start or end time and no time zone, so don't assume you'll have the whole of 1 November to play. Plan your last serious session for 31 October.
